‘How to Hold Space’ Workshop with Steve McKenzie

What does it mean to ‘hold space’ for someone?

It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they are on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome. When we hold space for someone, we open our hearts, offer unconditional support, and let go of judgement and control.

In today’s world of evolving consciousness, the old ways of doing things no longer work. The art of holding space is needed right now to bring about and support the healing happening on the planet and for the planet. Let’s create a container in which people can be vulnerable, be their true selves and feel safe and nurtured.

In this practical workshop you will learn how to:

  • Hold space for self
  • Hold space for others
  • Hold space for different genders
  • Hold space for groups and events
  • Hold space for broader intentions (eg: the planet)

After this workshop you will notice the many opportunities in which you can use the learnings to support those around you and to practice self-care.
